I’m a proud Brummie and, yes, my accent does surface. I hate running, but love playing football, which I do at a semi-professional level.
I’m a big believer that good design comes from a desire to design for good. I like to get involved in a good social campaign, I currently help The Bloody Good Period with creative content. They are fighting period poverty in the UK and I feel honoured to be able to use my design skills to help others.
Before starting at Percipio, I worked at a creative agency in Birmingham as a graphic designer, working on a range of local to international brands. And prior to this I interned at several agencies across Birmingham (doing the age old ‘getting my foot through the door’).
In my spare time I’m exploring cinema 4D and all its 3D design goodness, you’ll see some of my animations on our twitter feed @WeArePercipio.
The first time I went skiing when I was 10, I hurtled down my first slope, I was so scared I accidentally took up a race position. I was moving so fast that no one could catch up with me. I went through the massive gate fence at the bottom, broke all the wooden bars and crashed into a snow drift that stopped me from dropping 15ft into a car park…me on the other hand magically walked away intact. I had a photo with said fence the day after.
Sport… any sport and food, I’m the kind of person who works their way through the menu.
