Vacancies Junior web developer

We have an opening for a full time junior web developer.

Would you like to help us build web applications, plugins, APIs and innovative solutions for charities, startups and government departments?

We’re a fully remote company, loosely based around the UK capital programming API’s, crunching big data and building applications. Alongside our development work we also provide a full digital assist service – working with content writers, academics and storytellers – providing annual reports, guidance documentation, social media graphics and animations for our clients. We don’t outsource anything – everything we do is crafted in-house.

Our team of developers and designers are spread throughout the UK and Europe and regularly meet up London and Brugge for co-working sessions, client meetings and development sprints.

  • Role: Junior Web developer
  • Salary: £25 – £28k
  • Location: Fully remote, ± 2 hour timezone from London
  • Contract: Permanent, full time, semi-flexible hours
  • Application deadline: 30th June 2022

We are looking for a reliable, organised, friendly person to join our 9 person team who can take web prototypes, develop them into working templates and integrate them within Craft CMS.

Experience with Craft CMS, Twig, Tailwind or Vue is a big plus!

Does this sound like you?

You’ve been working on web platforms for a few years now whilst you’re comfortable with how the web works, you’re ready for your next challenge.

You’re a friendly, organised and reliable individual who can listen to ideas just as well as providing solutions.

You are big on autonomy and love to learn new things – you immerse yourself in new technologies and are present on coding platforms such as Stack Exchange / Discord.
You’re big on clean, semantic code and leave comments in your files that can be understood by other developers without the need for clarification. You can take prototypes and develop them into working applications and are happy integrating markup into a CMS.

On top of this, you’re happy conversing on Slack, in scrum meetings and – when the need arises – willing to travel to London (paid of course) to attend client meetings in-person.
